So I'm interested in a silver '78 for sale for $1000, problem is that I'd have to sell my green one for space...
Anybody have a clue what I should ask for it? (or if I should keep it)
WHO WANTS TO BUY MY GREEN 924? |

did you ever get your green one running properly?
and if you are going to get another 924 i would recommend getting a 79 or later for the 5 speed gearbox _________________ Riley

at 1k you'll need parts to fix it up and the green one might have what you'll need.
Find place or demolish the green one to be able to store the parts more easily _________________ 1979 924 NA |

No need for it to be a secret, the silver one is mine.
It's far from perfect but it is complete, original, unmolested and it runs (not quite my daily driver but I do use it occasionally during the week and almost always on the weekends).
I don't know your particular circumstances, xanderdeg. But my two cents? I'd suggest stripping that one you have of any useful parts, store them until wanted/needed (by you or anyone here). That's guaranteed to get you the most back out of it (not that it'll be a fortune). Send what's left over to the scrapper.
That being said, if you put a grand back into yours, you could probably get it running well.
Remember, the grass is always greener... _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

My car is also greener.
Problem is, I don't believe I have space to store parts for a long time.
My green one is running yes, still needs some stuff though to get drivinf |

Khal's silver car is super nice. I would go for it if you want an original looking car _________________ Riley

I really want the car, but I can't have two unfortunately...
Also, you made a good point with the 5speed option |
