I still can’t believe that I found this on Ebay.
The seller listed as “Porsche 924 944 928 ? Aluminum Intake Manifold”
I grabbed it within 10 min of listing.

No, it’s a direct bolt on. I put an intake manifold gasket on it and it line up perfectly.
But I will need to figure out a way to mount the throttle body without modifying this part.
Any gain to switch to a S2 single plate throttle body? _________________ 1976 924 N/A ROW SOLD

The throttle was after the turbo and before intercooler on GTR, you just need to find a suitably sized TB and attach it with a silicone coupler. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp
