I love the look.Clean and sexy- like fresh from the drawingboard.Timeless.
The Mirror is also stylish.
I use chrome on my 1977 as well.

Interesting exercise but it has totally destroyed the 50/50 weight bias of the 924. Now the polar moment is as bad as the 911.

Yes , your absolutely right. That wrong Motor positioning is one of the bad points. But this car is not made to be ideal.Next time place the engine right behind the seats.......

The Beetle engine is very light and it is not actually that bad.

But I have dreamed about a 924 with GTR bodykit equipped with built 928 32v engine and twin turbos mounted in mid position (quite easy with 951/S2 gearbox).

One guy here in Estonia took a Lada 2105 chassis and put Audi A8 4.2 V8 with 016 gearbox in the middle. Quite fun car

Also friend of mine had a Audi coupe Typ85 drift car with Audi 2.2 20V turbo mounted in the middle. Here's a 1st start vid of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gR_HDFwa3gQ

I like the shaved washer nozzles on the hood, I guess he uses RAIN-X and avoids using it on rainy days

Not to much air cooling with that glass lid closed...yea I saw that small grill out of the air flow, unless there is some ground effect ram air down under.
