Thats 1215 kg's, quite a porker! With a 1/2 tank of fuel and no driver mine weighs in at 1100kgs/2425lbs.

The manuals and media stated the turbo weighed in at 1180kgs. I reckon that was either dry and/or without extras like power windows, mirrors and a sunroof. I've removed a heap of 'extras' and added weight like a cage and fire extinguisher to net out at 1100kgs.

PS running north of 210bhp with this weight. It flies!!

I had to get a weighbridge ticket to get '82 924 registered and it came to something 1400kg (I don't remember exactly).

It sounds like the 931's were lightened?

Wade.

My 931 was something around 1180 without me if I remember correctly. Its a pretty lardy one, Thick heavy weltmeister sway bars, thick torsion bars, electric windows/mirrors, headlight washers, sunroof, all sound insulation still in place, and more than half tank. And I think it was on the street wheels, so really heavy D90s 8"+6" (the track cookie cutters are much lighter).

But I don't care, I´m concentrating on going fast instead of cool number to post on forums (although it would be great to shed 100kg). That strategy seems to work...
