I got an euro rear bumper this winter with the mounts.
Took me a while to prepare it and paint it but finally got to mount it last night
I got shocked as the bumper bolts line up perfectly with the mounts but I have a gap between bumper and rear quarter panel.
All the pictures I saw were flush but mine has about 1/2 inch of space.
I verified and it doesn't seem to be because the inner side of the bumper is blocked by anything.

Is it possible I got a 944 bumper shipped by mistake and these ones are different?

Here's mine from a few years ago. Think I had a gap too.

My Euro-spec 931 (came with Euro bumpers, not a converted US model):

I think the US bodies are not designed, gappage wise, for Euro bumpers. The fronts are gappy too on US models with Euro bumpers.

Very generous! I'd love to check out the CGT sometime, I'd feel too guilty driving it though.

I let Gerben chase me. He drove the 937, I drove my 2010 Camaro RS (now sold). He had never experienced a turbocharged toofah until that drive

LOL!

This is more our speed out Ann Arbor way:

Concours D'Elegance of America is next weekend. Pre-concours get together at Ideola's Garage, with a short parade over to the Porsche Corral at the Inn at St. John's. Just sayin'.

I can't say I would be as eager to hand over the keys. What a great first 924T experience for him.

my gapping is similar to what we see in Grenadiers picture
I was hopping for a fitment similar to ideola.
I guess I'll get working on the bondo this winter!
