do all 924 have about same engine wiring harness mine is old and breaking mine is 1979

Yes/no,.. there are differences, but to what extent I am not sure. Like my ignition for example has Ballasts, when the new engines simply have resistance wires. It depends on what years you're considering and how in depth of a swap your talking about. I think for the most part they would be compatible, but I would ask Dan (ideola) or Scott (924RACR). Those guys would know more about it then I do. I been replacing single wires at a time.
