Glancing over this photo,.. I don't see the 924. I see a 914, 931, 928, 951, 968, 996, 911, 959, 964, 993, 996, 356, 912.
Edit: Thanks for the proper numbers

Where is the 924?!?!? It's one thing to stop support for the car, but it's another to write it out of existence!

If you have to ask, you don't understand Porsche and the public's perception of the 924. _________________ Stefan

Along with the 937, 937S (GTS), 937R (GTR), 924S, 944, 944S2, 928S, 928S4, 928GT... and so on.
The 931 or 924 turbo represent the 924 group, they didn't put every single model variation or if they would, there would be so many cars that you probably wouldn’t see the 924 anyway. _________________ 1976 924 N/A ROW SOLD

Every time I go to Bob's on Friday nights in Burbank I get more people that come talk to me about my 924 then an entire row of chromed out Corvette's. Most common story is people remember seeing them when they where in high school years ago or they used to own one. People seem to be able to relate to it more because even back then they where rare cars that you didn't see everyday, as compared to an everyday Chevy or Ford, so you remember them more as they stood out. People like looking at the engine and the interior because they never got to see one up close. It's fun talking to the hot rod guys, their heads rotate like the exorcist because they cannot understand the fuel system, lol. Most didn't even know fuel injection even existed back then. |
