|
|
I have this part on my car that doesn't seem to be on any other 924s I have searched pictures of and whenever I see engine bay pics I always look for this thing but never find it...
it has only 1 (blue) wire coming out of it and a brass hex on top that turns by hand and feels like an adjuster, feels like its sitting in an o-ring or some similar light smooth resistance...
I would really appreciate help identifyin this thing so maybe I can hook it up the way it is intended because its hooked to nothing at the moment
please and thank you
and no that wire does not go into the battery box as it looks in that pic, it just happens to be sitting there looking like it does
and it has 2 tabs off of it that look like they are there for bolts but its glued on to the car not bolted in any way that I can see

I found it
Mine looks new, never installed. It was sitting in the glove box when I bought the car.
2 wire coming out in the bottom, adjusting screw on the top and no part #.
I put a $0.25 beside for size reference

Buried under the dash if its still there.
I usually remove the unit very carefully, then with the greatest of ease, hold it over a garbage can and let go. |
