I have a little mig that would probably do the trick.. im quite handy with that..
was also thinking maybe hand hammer form a chunck of aluminum cut from a snowmobile tunnel.. with the flat bottom marked to match and bend up high sides to match the orig box, bit of heat and a ball peen..
3m windshield glue and pop rivits?
your "now what?" is spot on..
im a mechanic, not an artist, don't know much about bodywork and my fabrication ideals are straight lines..
I would like to put the battery back in there so maybe some beams across the bottom of new box for support somehow...
I just really want ALL THE RUST GONE!! FOR GOOD!!!
decision in progress
might even chop out that chunk of firewall and replace _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified |
