Took thew old and stripped them then cut off the bottem used heavy board for new ones. on the top I covered with fiberglass then light weight easy sand filler. next step coming soon.

Whilst paint was drying &after everything was cleaned up, I met with Sandy
& together in the driveway we sanded a bit.

Check it out.

The top is ready for primer, whilst the bottem gets covered in black vinyl. Ill also use a bright red strap for a door pull & the hancle will be painted red too.

looks damn good, i think they will look nice when finished.
i need to re-do the bottom end of my door cards as time and moisture has damaged the pressed carton and on the lower area they are soft and flappy

Sprayed them and made my gun spray orange peel finish looks good.. I should make them flat black but am toying differently.

Those door cards are looking real good.
Kind of wish mine looked like that. LOL
I think if I was going to do it I would go with a quick and dirty Stainless steel.

I love the build though. That car is going to be a great looking machine when done.

Installing them is a little tricky the fasteners wont hold.
Ill use self tapping nuts.

There OK. Not to happy with the fit the cards are a little to tall so the top part isnt able to seat down on the window ledge like it should. Later down the road Ill get to it. I want to drive it. Also maybe I should paint the red door latch cover black.
