Bought this today. I'll be tearing apart my '78 this winter for parts and hopefully build a decent car out of the two of them. Hoping to build a reliable summer daily driver with the carrera gt look and ~200 hp.
Actually runs pretty decent with the weber carbs on it but one or both of the motor mounts are pretty bad. I'll be ditching the carbs for either the cis system in my '78 or mega-squirt setup, so I'll probably list them for sale on here in the spring if anyone is interested along with the header it has on it.
Going to do a lot of planning this winter and hopefully start a build thread in the spring with specifics for you guys to critique before I get too far along. _________________ 1978 924 -parts car

Turbo. I have seen many threads on here and elsewhere showing 200hp as easily attainable with a turbo on an N/A motor. Some have gained a bit more, but I am trying to retain drivability and reliability rather than going for pure power. I think 200hp is plenty for street driving. _________________ 1978 924 -parts car

Congrats on the new project.
You might consider attending the Historics next year in Portland. . .we've developed a nice little toofah gathering here every July. Good company, good beers, good racing! _________________ Toofah King Bad
