Hi !
I can write more later on, but I got the mission to share a really nice piece from the engine dyno. joakim had his engine recalibreated in the dyno, now with twin scroll exhaust manifold instead of the original cast one, and the delicious Borg Warner EFR 7670. The dyno plots in the end of the movie tells the results, they are on both 98 octane and E85. Theres much more to get with E85, but they stopped there to keep the engine safe for a while.
Will be interesting to see how the power feels in the car and how it performs on track. Probably really nice woth lots of extra low end and more power up at the top end. Its very amusing that his car looks very ordinary, like a slightly tired silver 931 with wide tyres. Makes people confused on the track _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

I've been following his posts over on 944sverige.
Excellent results but not surprising considering the manifold and turbo.
Joakim is a legend though _________________ 1979 UK 932 |

Does anyone have a link to his thread on this engine build? I would love to get more details on that header and how that is going to fit next to the frame rail in the engine bay. Also, how he is supporting the turbo and getting the oil to drain back to the pan.
Thanks,

You'll need to register to view everything including images and Google Translate helps even though some of the translation is amusing. _________________ 1979 UK 932 |

Wow very nice results. Does anybody have any pictures of his engine? Curious what his setup looks like.
The 1.4 bar of boost pressure at 3500 rpm... amazes me the most. |

What duration cam was used for these dyno runs?
I remember last time he used a long duration cam.
GT3's better watch out when he hits the track!
Cedric and Gegge, thanks for posting this stuff on here. _________________ 1979 UK 932 |
