Guys:
I need to replace the (disintegrated) cup bushing on my shifter linkage. To clarify, I need the bushing that's inserted in the rod that's attached to the shifter's base at the front and to the ball located at the rear of the torque tube. It functions as the pivot for the shifter and is anchored to that ball on the TT.

I believe the transmission is referred to as the 016. (It's the five speed that has first gear located to the left and back (where 1st gear would be on a three speed floor shift), with reverse directly above it).

I've spoken to Pellican and they can't seem to identify the bushing PN.
Rick

477 711 176 A will be your part number, the bushing in it is integral in the joint.

Thanks guys. Part ordered. There went another $56 bucks. Gotta car builds. This is why you can buy a used race car for less that it costs to build one!

The last time I changed one I used a new bushing in the old socket. It was a 914 part number iirc, I don't have it handy.

I thought the socket I used was a 914 part number, I can't find it. I did find a socket which appears to be the correct size but it has a 911 part#.....911 424 139 00
It is approximately 23.5mm in diameter & 23.75mm long.
