Something that has been bothering me is the (UK) drivers side windscreen wiper sits about 2" up the screen when it's off which just looks a bit silly. The passenger side one sits flush with the bottom of the screen.
Is this normal? Can I adjust it somehow? |

| The wiper arm is just pushed onto a tapered spline & held on by a nut. Remove the nut, pull it off & reindex it. |

Maybe it slipped on its tapered spline drive axle, you should be able to take it off and reindex it there.
I had a problem with mine stripping out, what I did reinstalling..
Put arm on axle in correct position, nut, socket, 8" extension, breaker bar.
Apply righty tighty torque and at the same time rap the breaker bar on the back of its head straight down through the extension driving the arm down onto the tapered spline while you simultaneously tighten the nut.
Also used a sharp punch and tiny tap hammer to clean out the splines where it was full aluminum. _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified |
