Hi Guys
Whilst I'm waiting for my alternator to be refurbed and my attempt to remove starter motor as the wires are fried ( previous post! ) is on going! Can anyone advise if the test for the ignition coil is okay? As follows:-
Voltage test ignition on.
Term 15 to ground 6.7v
Term 1 to ground 1.4v
Resistance test:-
Term 1 to 15, 1.3 ohm
Term 1 to 4 , 8.88 kohm
Cheers,

| It is a little outside of spec but that doesn't necessarily mean its bad. You could bench test it.... |
