I just found some steel bar stock of about 3/8" or 1/2" thick and drilled a hole in it. You also need longer bolts. Don't go very far, I'm short but that 3/8 or 1/2"(I don't remember) just about ran my legs into the steering wheel.
Aluminum would work just as well or even some pieces of a good hardwood like oak. _________________ Mike

I'd do it between the slider rails and the seat rather than between the rails and the floor, the floor has some trapped bolts that will not be easy to replace with longer bolts. But then again I forget what exactly the bottom of the seat has on it. _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified |

That spacer looks exactly like what one of my cars came with...
PS - yes, they were between the seat and the sliders. _________________ Vaughan Scott

As I recall , I just raised the rails. The bolts came from the local True Value Hardware, much better place than the Big Box stores. _________________ Mike

Fastenal has the best hardware but a lot of items must be bought in bulk. |

My PM messages are sitting in my Outbox for some reason. I don't think you are getting them. I sent an email to your direct email.
Thanks. _________________ MOD

I raised mine an inch or inch and a half by cutting square stock and welding the ends up. I raised the slider. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na
