Went to Hybrid Motors located in New Jersey to get my a/c fixed and a new ignition switch put in because my key was not turning consistently each time I went to start the car. I can't say enough about how good they are in repairing German cars. They are truly excellent mechanics and know our cars extremely well. Whether the issue is mechanical, electrical or computer related...they can fix it like a boss. The mechanic who fixed my car today is named Lee. He is the best mechanic I have ever met. Period. He drives a 944 and a Boxster with a 911 engine. He also races at the track.

My a/c is now ice-cold and ready for the summer heat.

If you need your Porsche or any German car serviced and if you want it done right - this is your daisy.

So jealous!!!

What all did they have to do? I've heard much about the compressor replacement/upgrade, but I'm curious if it's truly necessary or just sells parts?

They first pulled a vacuum for a few hours to make sure there are no leaks. Amazingly enough - there were no leaks. Then they filled it with r12 that I provided for them. Lord that stuff makes the car freezing. That's it. Now I am driving in an igloo.
