The NA 1979 I've built to run the Salt Flats in 2016 (it's been cancelled for 2015) has black "PORSCHE" graphics on both sides and a large "924" on the hood that is centered inside two wide black stipes. I can't seem to locate that design package anywhere in the internet litterature and was wondering if it was a uneque model, or just some after market set of decals a prior owner put on it. Interesting, the car had the plaid Leman's model interior.

I picked up a junker 1980 project car that is similar, red with wide yellow stripes in a U shape on the hood with 924 in the the U. A yellow stripe down the side with Porsche in black over the rear wheel well/ fender. It appears to be painted rather than a deal
