Happy New Year All!
Its time to do an oil change. Considering whats available (and affordable) over here, i decided on a "Meyle".

Thing is, that what is available, is for a 70`s - 80`s VW Passat / Golf /Scirroco (Part # 100-115-0009). The specified Meyle filter for the 924 is # 100-115-0001.

The physical specs are identical, but i cant find anywhere (including their online catalog) info on the oil filter Relief valve (bypass valve) specs, as i wanted to compare both filters. I contacted Meyle but have not received a reply yet.

So my question is, does anyone have any idea if they would have a "close enough" bypass valve spec pressure, based on the part numbers? Thank You! patrick

Beaware, because not only those specs, but also the height of the filter is important. Not all filters fit because of the location/available height.
