Hello all, my name is josh and i have a 1977 924 in bright yellow. although it is not quite running yet i'm enjoying it so far.
i cant quite figure out why its not getting fuel to the distributor, i replaced the fuel pump because the old one was dead. i also replaced the fuel lines from the tank to the accumulators. itll chug to life on starter fluid but no gas makes it to the cylinders. help much appreciated. [/img]

Hi, welcome!
There is no fuel deleverid to the distributor?

Did you also replace the fuel filter? Maybe that's clogged also.

If it has been stood for a long time, suspect the fuel distributor central lift pin stuck.

Yes, the WUR and Fuel distributor are both probably full of old fuel, etc.

Check out the How-to section for fuel distributor and WUR (Warm-up Regulator) cleaning information.

DIY Fuel distributor rebuilds are pretty hit/miss, so you can send it off to be professionally rebuilt.

Once you have fuel at the injectors, then you'll need to verify your injectors are all flowing properly.

You may not even need to rebuild the fuel dizzy. Just pull the smaller distributor (square puck with all the fuel lines) off the metering body and be very careful not to let the pin in the middle fall out if it isn't gummed up and stuck in there.
