I am going for an informal 1977 924 Martini Edition tribute with the exterior of my 931. I am torn between taking these 17" Porsche/BBS wheels to a gloss white, which will most closely tribute the 14" factory white wheels on the actual 1977 cars, OR, go gloss black, which will match the 968 mirrors as well as be more "modern". (BTW - I already have gloss black 968 door handles coming - thanks for the tip Ideola!). TIA for participating!

| I say leave them like they are but that's not an option in your pole. |

White wheels are unbearable if you like driving the car, they get dusty within a few miles. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

You already know my vote for white.
And this stuff is like magic for keeping the brake dust off:

I would go white or leave silver, I not a fan of black wheels generally, but this car esp. Should have the white to go with the original scheme, which was kind of cool. _________________ 88 924S

Thanks everyone for the input! tough decision but I made one......WHITE!
After a few days with the car since the wrap & stripe, as well as asking local porsche club buddies, we all agree with Dan/Ideola that since I am going for a '77 Martini edition tribute, the wheels in white will really set it off.
I hope to make people assume it is a Martini at first, until the see the euro turbo front end and hood, and the badge. Should be fun to bring to the meet ups, C&C, etc..
Also, I have black wheels on my Cayenne GTS and the factory wheels on my GT3 are black (I use them as track backups now), so I want something different. Thanks again. This is a great forum of cool toofah dudes!
