On the sticker in the engine compartment my 79 NA says 2 passengers. There are no seatbelts in the rear. I have seen others with belts. Are belts an option in the rear? _________________ 1979 924 Diamant Zweischicht.

I'm curious as well. My '79 didn't even have holes in the rear seat pads on its original interior. But the replacement interior (also from a 79) does.
I had a real a**hole fail mine on inspection because of it.. ever since I just fold down the rear seat and as far as they can tell, it's a 2-seater _________________ 1979 924 NA

My 77' has rear belts on one side and they look like DIY.
Also my '85 has two, and they look pretty factory to me. |

From looking at a couple online brochures, they were standard equipment in 1982. Before that I don't know. My 78 doesn't have them and haven't looked to see if there are mounting points in the body for them. _________________ 78 924 |
