Does anyone know the part number for the fuel hose that runs from the in-tank fuel pump to the external fuel pump ? How about a supplier to get one?

Thanks

477 209 199 D

If it's still available, the best thing to do is to email or call your closest Porsche dealer. It is showing as about a $15 part.

Or, just get 2 feet of suitable I.D. high pressure fuel hose from your local auto parts store, trim it to length and make your own s-bends that don't crimp. You might need to use a zip tie or two to secure it in the best location and keep it from dangling.

I just installed one and one of the Porsche USA warehouses have stock. I prefer the OE hose because it's not super expensive and it fits without a fear of kinking.

Green tartan interior, you don't see that on a Civic.

Called the local Porsche dealer, they say only one in the country? $30 and 3-5 days shipping.

I really hate when a dealership employee makes it so easy to use the term stealership, especially when they work in parts.

This is the one I just purchased from my Canadian dealer.

So that makes it time for what I'm going to call PRO TIP FROM A PARTS PERSON!

If a dealer gives you a price that seems a little steep, ask if that includes shipping. If they say yes, ask if you can save that shipping by having them roll that into their stock order. Dealers save shipping money by placing a larger singular order than many smaller ones through out the week.

If they say no then tell them you'll get the part from Canada for less.

Well $21 is what I can find for the price of the hose and that is including the dealership that PowerTryp suggested. The only problem is that the hose has to come from Germany which means 4 weeks away. I guess the old one goes back on for now until the new one arrives.
