|
|
I just got my first Porsche about two weeks ago ('87 924S) and have just now had the time to start really looking it over and start doing some work.
I decided to cleanup the outside by going through a touchless carwash, and low and behold discovered that the rear glass has separated in two spots.
Fortunately, there wasn't any damage to my seats as I was able to get it cleaned up quick enough, but since my car sits outside (for now), I want to protect it from the rain. I live in Alabama, so snow won't be a problem for a while (if at all), and I plan on getting the issues resolved as soon as I can.
So, what is a relatively inexpensive car cover (sub $200 if possible) that will do a good job of keeping moisture out and not obliterate my paint (not that it's completely pristine or anything).
I don't intend to use this permanently, but mostly until I get my car sealed up and probably when I do some work on the car but don't want to leave it trashy looking (dumb HOA rules).
Thanks! _________________ '87 Porsche 924S |

Your Por$che dealer sells a custom cover for your car, in Sliverguard+ fabric.
It should be at the upper end of your budget, but will last at least a couple of years, which is way better than most. _________________ 1987 924S SPEC car
