I bought another car. It was a steal, under a grand. 1987 924S with a broken timing belt. The reason I bought it is for some parts I want for my car. It has :
-944S trans
-Bilsteins on all 4 corners
-decent black interior
-new set of hood insulation not yet installed
-931 NACA hood
-new fuel injectors and some other engine stuff

And some other stuff I forget. Now the problem...what else should I strip from it before getting it having it towed for scrap ? I am really unfamiliar with 944 engined cars.

Help ?

Speaking for myself, I could use the heater control cable and belly pan if it's there.

Generally, there really isn't any golden unicorn in that car, just the typical toofah stuff. One possible exception: clean unscratched bores are becoming rare on these cars, might make the block worth something.

4 wheel disc conversion, alloy trailing arm conversion, hatch, seats?

I wasnt even going to pull the head because I know there is nothing I can use but if you want to make an offer on the block let me know. I will look at the cables for you, I don't need them. If it has sports seats I will save those ,if not then to the dump they go. Part of the reason I bought it is for the transaxle and trailing arm for my car. I already have 2 complete 5 lug set ups no one wants so these will hit the wrecker. Hadn't thought of the hatch, going to look at it for sure. Bilsteins will be available to if anyone needs them. Don't drink and buy cars..lol

Shipping might kill me on this one, but I would be interested in the Bilsteins if they are in good nick.

I will be booking my ticket to Nuremberg this afternoon. Should be arriving on Feb. 28 / Mar.1 next year for a trade show and was planning on bringing some parts with me to help the 931 brothers in Europe. If you are serious then PM me and I will see what the cost to take them as 'excess baggage' on the plane ride over. Once I get to Germany you can either pick them up or I can post them to you for much less than shipping from here.

You really should just come here for a weekend and strip stuff off the car. It does have a belly pan, just found out.
