Hi the names Matthew and recently i just purchased a 1978 924 2.0L that was sitting in a field as a restoration project and im hoping for advice from the pros along the way,

I have little to no experience restoring cars but i am interested in learning and want to do as much as i can by myself.

The condition of the car is far from desirable and needs a lot of work the first thing i need to address is the headlight motor, the car didn't come with one and i believe the part number is 477 941 379 A, the availability of them seems quite low and the price is fairly high am i able to use the 477 941 379 B that was seen on later models and the 944's and such?
