Hello everyone,
My car has the TCI-H ignition system with the Hall transmittor and without idle stabilizer.

I've seen on this recent thread that it is mounted near the front left headlight on a bracket, but that bracket which is spotwelded to the body is not on my car. The enginebay is still in onriginal paint.
And to make it even more confusing my car is from december '79 so a '80 model year, but the TCI-H ignition system was only used on 81-82 models.
On my car it was mounted in front of the firewall by the battery.
Here are some pictures(the blue car is mine, the red car is just an example of where it should be, the red one has the old ignition system)
So where should it be? _________________ Restoring a late 1979 Porsche 924. This is my first car and my first attempt at restoring a car.
Learning a lot along the way and doing as much as I can myself. |
