|
|
I have been daily driving my 924 for a few years now, but i just cant get used to the mirrors. The blind spots are just really bad, most notable on the passenger side.
Its also quite hard to reverse into a parking spot
Does anyone know of a solution? are there aftermarket mirrors glasses available that have a wider field of view/viewing angle? |

Which mirrors do you have?
Do you have convex or flat lenses? Might be a possible upgrade?
I've never had a complaint about the field of vision from the late style flag mirrors (same as 944)... though I'll admit I don't use them for reverse parking, just look over my shoulder - the car is low and small enough. I'd say it's fair to admit that US parking spots are notably bigger than EU-spec spots, but these cars are so small anyway... _________________ Vaughan Scott

For future reference, i have now fixed this.
I couldn't find an original 924 convex mirror glas, so instead i went to the nearest auto parts store and bought a convex stick on mirror that i stuck on the existing mirror.
They had serveral sizes and i just matched it up closest to the original mirror, you can barely see that i stuck it over the existing mirror, and the field of view has improved drasticly |
