So saterday Im like bored so I lift the hood look at the motor a light bulb lites up (i have an idea) so I spray degreaser all over where the motor is dirty like all over then I get even bolder after it sits for a few
I grab the hose and hose that motor off...then I start it up starts fine I rev it up shut it down then wash the rest of the car move some stuff in the garage and try to start it again with no luck wont start I take out the plugs clean em up and let the car sit with out plugs till sunday after the superbowl then put em back in still it wont start instead it turns over fast and then slow backfiren through the exhaust...so Monday after work it strts rite up no problem....
What happend here is after I started it all wet it drew in moisture &
wouldnt run for a couple days so dont do this like I did go for a drive after you wash it dont just start it up and shut it down OK..

Joe, you got water in your distributor cap. All you needed to do was take it off and blow out the water. Keep your hose away from your distributor. |
